Highlighted below are the salient points to note in regard to parcels within Nairobi Land Registration Unit:
1. As from 1 st April 2021, all dealings relating to parcels within the Nairobi registration unit shall be carried out in the new registers.
2. Acreage of respective parcels shall remain the same
3. Individuals aggrieved by the information in the conversion list or the cadastral maps are invited within ninety (90) days from the date of publication of the Gazette Notice (31 st December 2020) to raise complaint to the registrar.
The procedure to raise Complaints
Any aggrieved person is required within the Ninety (90) days to-
1. Make a written complaint, in Form LRA 96 to the Registrar in respect of the information contained in the conversion list and the cadastral maps; or
2. Apply to the Registrar in Form LRA 67 for the registration of a caution pending the clarification or resolution of any complaint.
