BIOGRAPHY
Daisy Chege is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya having been admitted to the Bar in December 2011.
Daisy has previously worked in Two leading Law firms and gained vast experience in Real Estate, Banking and Securities, Competition Law, Intellectual Property, Franchising and Licensing Contracts, Legal due diligence and Corporate Governance.
As a Partner at MNO Advocates LLP, she oversees the Intellectual Property Law, Corporate law, Real Estate & Conveyancing and Competition Law Departments. Daisy’s work encompasses advising and preparing documentation for various property acquisitions, disposals and developments and seeing the same through to registration; advising client’s extensively on security documentation, Franchising and Licensing Agreements, dealing with business establishment in Kenya; advising and preparing documentation in the acquisition of private companies and businesses, reviewing and drafting a variety of commercial contracts, advising clients on Competition law in Kenya, conducting legal due diligence and advising clients on IP issues arising within the financial services, manufacturing, IT, telecommunications and pharmaceutical sectors.
Daisy is also a Certified Mediator having been Certified by Dispute & Conflict Resolution International in collaboration with the Mediation Training Institute. She is also a Committee member at the Court Annexed Mediation Bar – Bench Committee.
